David Perlick — Founding Attorney and Counselor at Law

David brings 20+ years experience in assisting clients with estate planning, probate and Legacy Coaching. His breadth of expertise also includes real estate and corporate counsel. As the head of the firm, David is a natural born leader and counselor. He has the ability to provide intelligent legal advice while also making people feel extremely relaxed and comfortable in his presence. This stems from his various near-death experiences and his long-term involvement in skiing, meditation, dance, art, personal development, music, martial arts, and wilderness immersion.

David graduated in 1992 with honors from Touro Law Center in Huntington, NY. He was Founder and first President of the Touro Dispute Resolution Society, which continues to provide mediation training and certification to law students since 1990. His degrees include Juris Doctor from Touro Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy & Comparative Religion from The Colorado College, as well as Business & Environmental Studies from Cornell University. He maintains several memberships including the American Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, Boulder County Bar Association, as well as the Boulder County Estate Planning Council for which he served as President in 2008. David is intimately involved with his community, having served on several non-profit boards including Eldora Special Recreation Ski Program (now Ignite Action Sports), the Boulder Jewish Community Foundation, his neighborhood volunteer fire department, and as Co Founder and President and of J-SUP: Boulder Law Center for the Unhoused.

David is also involved in the entrepreneurial community. He has assisted numerous startups with strategic planning and legal counsel. He is the Co Founder and President of Lyconos, Inc., a Boulder-based startup developing a platform to enable people to manage their legal and financial life while expanding personal development through a coaching model based on the 4Ys: Legacy, Security, Generosity and Vitality.

In 2020, after years of dreaming about it, David established his Legacy on the Slopes program as an opportunity to discuss the meaning and importance of legacy with other passionate people. In addition to “legaski” days at various resorts in Colorado, David hosts lunches, walks, hikes, and rides to introduce people to the 4Ys.

Beyond his often-times hopeful vision for the planet, David’s main focus is family, including his wife, two daughters, Samoa (the cat), and Savvy (the dog).
